Lol, unfortunately I had just gotten new tires about a month before I decided to order the lift, so I'm not really in any rush to upgrade them right now, unless of course someone around here just happens to want to trade :p

Giving myself a break this weekend when I was changing passenger CV, I glanced up into the door hinge area from the wheel well. I removed my inner wheel wells in the front when I cut the opening for my 33's since I removed about 14" of the lip they rested on. I notice an electrical box right out in open now (figure for power door crap). Im wondering if I shouldnt cover that somehow. Has anyone else ran into this and did something about it?

Im sure its sealed to protect from elements but now with no inner wheel well it gets direct contact with whats flung off tires. Im thinking of taking some rubber "flare" material like what a few others have had to do because of the laws in their area and screwing that in place inside the wheel well by the door hinges. There was a foam piece there held in by the plastic wheel wells but of course I had to remove it with the wheel wells.

If Im not making sense let me know and ill try to get a picture of where im talking about

The foam piece will stay without plastic wheelwell. I still have them to keep stuff out of door jambs.

I think alek siliconed his in but mine stay by friction alone.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

It's no problem... I pretty much exclusively use the "active topics" button, so I see everything that's posted in all forums...

I think the alum color goes good with your bottom border. Black wheels might be too much.
I guess you could try the plasti-dip, it has good reviews and supposedly peels off nicely if you don't like it.

I won't do full black. Someone gave me an idea on doing some highlighting in black, I'm going to photoshop it first, as soon as I get photoshop working again...

Thanks Nick. Red is going to be my new accent color... Lol

Daytime video of those new front strobes:

Now where have I seen those lights before?
Cody... They are LEDs! In the video it looks like you have a massive dent on the hood... like a sumoh wrestler sat on it.. Was the hail in TN that big?! You're welcome for saving both you and the envoy from taking a direct hit from that tornado. I thought I was going to be without a chase partner! Then to have that same tornadic cell come right over us here. I hope we don't get anymore that close to home.

And on a side note: will somebody help me find this switch on my truck!?
