Looking for a G80 for the 8" rear. Not sure if gear ratio matters but I have 3.42 gears.

I'll also consider the 8.5" rear from the EXT, G80 or open diff.

Thanks

I think the EXT(and v8 models) have an 8.6

Your best bet for finding what your looking for would be to check local junkyards or go here...http://car-part.com and type in what your looking for and it can give you all the closest places with the unique part you want.

Exactly. Junkyards. At car-parts.com, they include the G80 locker under the generic term "limited slip" even though it's not precisely what we have.

You'll pay more for a new G80 unit almost anywhere except Ebay, and even Ebay units are more expensive than an entire new rear axle already set up. And for no more money, you can upgrade to the 8.5"-8.6" axle at the same time, and get the benefits of stronger axles and diff housing.

In general, members here aren't in the habit of collecting cheap G80s for later sale - we just buy what we need when we break one.

If interested I have my differential from my 02 EXT along with 3.73 ring and pinion. The diff will need to be rebuilt though. It blew the spider gears.
