I will be taking some video of the dyno runs that should provide a good sound of what the headers will sound like. I am hoping it sounds like the older 250 I6 from the 60's. The 250 with longtube headers had a nice deep tone.

PCM of NC just posted the dyno results on Facebook.

The "area under the curve" improvement is HUGE. :drool3:

As I said originally, I'd really like to have seen tuned stock in that mix, as well! The header graph looks pretty much the same as stock, except above 5k, without the tune. Hard telling how much of that is just any bad fueling with the new header with stock tune, and how much of it is the header.

This is from GMTN, tuned vs. stock on an I6 TB: Looks similar to the tuned header vs. header stock tune, as far as adding a ton of midrange.

If I'm reading the URL correctly from that attachment, that's a pic from a dyno tune, not a mail order tune. Can you link the thread?

Whoops, I didn't catch the PS at the bottom of the OP, where he said: "with a K&N cold air intake and cat-back, dual exhaust"
http://gmtnation.com/f25/i-got-dyno-tuned-5208/
Yes, it was a dyno tune, but so was this one.

I looked for a before/after of a stock TB on PCM's site (which I thought I'd seen before?), but we know it's hard to find stuff on there.

They showed up today. Some of the nicest headers I've laid hands on.

They goofed and sent me a downpipe with no cat though, so they'll have to wait to go on.

I just wanted to say that I had an email in my box THIS MORNING from Drew. Also, Kooks is closed today so he sent it on his own time.

After dealing with a certain tire vendor over the last few weeks, this is REFRESHING.

Props to Kooks.

As much as it pains me, I'm going to hold off installing them until we figure out what to do. I don't want to dirty up a perfectly good downpipe that they could resell.

No one seemed to care about them here. There was more interest on GMTN.

The TB sounds nasty with them on. Every time I hear it I wish I hadn't sold it.

What muffler n such does your ex tb have behind the headers?

The entire exhaust on my GXP cost less than that ONE header.
Once lifted 03 Trailblazer on 35's, gave it up to travel the USA with my family.

Just a welded 2 chamber. Similar to a Flowmaster 40.

To be fair, it's the header and cat... and I doubt they are planning on selling thousands of these. The pre-order price made it worth it.

TB exhaust from the cat back is so simple and straight you can fab your own in 3" for less than $100, so it balances out.
