That should be
NOT ONCE, EVER, DON'T EVEN THINK IT.
Do that on a trail ride I'm leading and you leave the group and get shunned.
Be assured this forum was started by three adults with engineering/computer science degrees and a combined forum experience of about 20 years and over 50,000 posts. Professionally-employed, platform enthusiasts, with safety as a primary concern. Teebes (one of the other founders) and I worked for YEARS to gain the modification and offroad experience to be the first GMT360s on the historic Rubicon Trail in California.
I understand Tapatalk doesn't display as much as you see on-line in terms of experience data.
Also be assured we don't tolerate laziness in posting or research, because that sort of attitude seems to follow some people onto the trails, and that's a poisonous attitude to bring into a hostile environment offroad. Hazing is a test, to see if you're worthy. Not because we're asshats or children ourselves.
We (the founders and moderation team) let threads like this drift sometime if we haven't had one for a while. To make sure the culture and bit of the group's philosophy are articulated and discussed.
Off my soapbox now. Carry on.
