I just got a new job in the oilfield and the GTO just isn't a good car for the work I do. I have my heart set on a Trailblazer, so if you know anyone in Louisiana looking for a fun toy let them know.

Up for sale is my 2004 Pontiac GTO automatic. This car is in excellent condition inside and out! All the seats and door panels are perfect. Never smoked in. Comes with clarion amp and polk door speakers. The paint is in very good condition for it's age. I also have the stock spoiler for it. I prefer the look without the spoiler but I will include it with the car. As for mechanical, the motor runs great, no ticks and does not burn oil and tranny shifts firm. I can no longer afford the note and am looking for something a little cheaper.

67,000 Miles
Asking $14,000 OBO

Here is a list of the mods

-SCT custom programmer. It has an email tune and it's dead on. No popping through the exhaust when revving. Adds at least 30hp and has a tune for 87 octane if you wish.

-Muffler delete

-Custom cold air intake which sucks air directly from behind the front grilles

-Brand new federal tires 245/40/18

-American racing wheels

-Port and polished throttle body

-The car is rated at 350hp stock and it should easily be at 380hp now

No shipping!

Sweet car dude!!!! Wish i had 14k just laying around, I've always liked that model. So why so interested in a trailblazer and not a Z71?

I just like the fact that I will be able to store what ever I need and have it safe and secure. I am also big into stereo systems and the trailblazer offers a lot more room for speakers, lol. Plus I just love the way they look, especially lifted. I found an 05 silver ls with 120k miles for $6,200. Not bad right?

Before you buy read a lot on here. If your serious about wheeling then there are a few things to consider like comfort features and the rear axle w/g80 or an 8.6" rear axle. If I had a chance to go back with the knowledge I have now , I would have held out till I got the best all around.( like an 07+ LT V8 SWB w/G80)

Sad to say but my trailblazer will mostly be a mall cruiser or whatever you guys call it lol. Maybe an ocasional camping trip is all Ill be doin. I just want to cross rail road tracks faster than 3mph. Im thinkin 3/2 lift with 33"s.

The trailblazer doesn't have a lot of room for speakers. Unless you get the ext. cargo width is just 45" compared to the 49" width of a Tahoe or Burb. Plus the speakers in the front doors are a pita. You have to remove the pods the speakers sit in and they have to modified to accept most aftermarket 6.5's. I'm currently doing a complete audio build in mine and it hasn't been even close to as easy as my old 04 Yukon. Plus the head unit has to be piped thru the onstar and other data communications the vehicle comes with. Even adding an alarm means an extra device is needed to communicate with the windows and locks.

Don't get me wrong tho, I live my TB. It's just that I think it has it's niche. There are other vehicles that might suit your wants much better. But a tall tricked out TB is an attention getter. Mine being one of the tallest in the NW (props to Donny for being #1) I turn heads almost everywhere I go.

Have you seen the trunk of a GTO lol? The gas tank is in the trunk! I was able to squeeze a 2.6cu ft ported box with a 12" type r. That thing is crazy loud! But I'm thinkin 1 incriminator audio death penalty 15" for the trailblazer. As for retrofitting door speakers, been there done that not worried.

:arggh:  :wallbash:

Well if your not offroading i would highly recommend avoiding 33s. Expensive, gas guzzling, and strain on your powertrain.

I'm not a fan of incriminator audio. I like digital designs ( I currently have a z18, only 66 z's in the world), sundown audio, or sound solutions audio

What's all this audio and mall cruiser talk?

Dustin, I recommend you looking up GMTNation. That's where the mall crawlers hang out, not here.

I agree with James. GMTN would be a lot more helpful for you. We don't talk about cruising malls here or audio.

I was up in Seattle servicing some security cameras I installed for a client. I stayed over and dropped in on the GMTN meet the next morning.

Haha, that's wicked. You crawl on malls, not speed bumps.
