Sleeve solution for Skyjacker shocks

I just finished putting some Skyjacker C25R springs an N8030 shocks on the rear end and thought I'd share this. The shocks don't fit perfectly on the TB, I think they were probably designed for standard 1/2" bolts instead of the metric bolts we have. So, if you use the sleeve that comes with the shocks by themselves you would have a lot of slop in there and I assume they'd rattle.

I found you can pretty easily sand down a piece of pex pipe and fit it inside the sleeve and then the bolt fits very snuggly inside the pipe. I've added a few pictures to show what I did in case this might be useful for anyone.

Nice...I find that every single thing I do..is not as straight forward as I think. I always figure it out...but they sometimes made this truck difficult to quickly swap parts. I will unlock full potential.

LOL, yeah, definitely makes you scratch your head sometimes why they went and created some one-off things like 6x127 bolt pattern, 8" rear end, etc., when they had perfectly good solutions aready.
