Has anyone thought of welding on tabs on the lower control arm to install full length coil overs on the 2wd models? This would be to one gain travel but also work towards a pre runner style front suspension. I was looking and it seems like it would work seeing as we don’t have the axles in the way.
The one limitation I do see is of course the upper control arm travel amount. Even with the control arm flip the limitation is still there.
Any thoughts on the lower control arm tabs though?

I remember seeing a thread somewhere with someone asking about creating a mild prerunner build on a gmt360. Don’t remember too much about it but, I think the general consensus was that this platform is just too heavy and doesn’t have the suspension travel.

Yea that’s what I came up with as well unless you get custom arms and spindle made for longer travel.
