I invited Martin here guys to keep him out of trailvoy's clutches. Let's help a bit more. Z71 Springs are available at GM online vendors or eBay by their part number. Same for the front Springs.

The part numbers are all in the master thread: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=20

If Ebay has no inventory, and you can't find a US vendor to ship them to you, and you don't have any other way to smuggle parts across the border affordably, then you'll have to go to the online GM parts vendors like parts4chevy.com who I assume can ship to Canada.

Our Vendor Rockauto has them, don't they ship to Canada?

So if they will top out if not weighed down, what is the ideal Spring weight for a 97x and Trailblazer with a Baja light bar and slim L.E.D.s shining like the night sun.
Lithium battery box out back and plastic windows etc, ecetera.
Are there any airbags in a strut configuration that work for lighter or OEM or less, weight 97x and Trailblazer, or even the SS & Aero models, that lift it up and are the correct spring rate

Ideal is fairly subjective. 87s seemed to be the most common, 88s second most, especially with bumpers, 89s only a few of us have used.

Fishsticks documented using 89s with a half inch outside strut spacer that seemed to work pretty well. Nobody has copied him yet, but I knida wish they would.

If you're looking at 89s I got a pair for sell. I can't really recommend tossing them under a 3" suspension lift though despite several other members doing so.

Ebay for z71s, wherever for skyjackers, gm for 87 and 88s

I think first you need to decide how much lift you want and how you want to get there.
Springs only, springs + spacer etc.
Like Jason said 89s+3" lift is really too much without a steel bumper.

I retired my broken Icon coilovers, so I'm currently running 89's, with Mark's 3" and I don't believe my CV joints liked anything outside the strut on top of that. But I have a heavy-ass custom bumper AND the MileMarker winch AND my HiLift hanging off the front, so it's perfectly tuned now.

There used to be a company (Shockwave) that made an airbag strut for lowering the front years ago. I considered them too fragile for offroading, and never pursued getting them to modify a set for lifting. They were well past the $1200 cost of coilovers, which are proven to work by the new vendor and a dozen members here.

hmm, yeah, no heavy :elephant: bumper in front. Maybe a small tube style Baja bumper and aluminum skid plate. In search of lighter hood and fenders, maybe cut and paste some Baja fiber fenders from another model vehicle. Pull the power seats for light weight bucket recliners.
etcetera, etcetera.

If you want a prerunner, don't waste your time or money on anything other than the coilovers.

Ill be installing nitrogen filled 2.5" bump stops first. Prerunner long travel in the fu, uture. diet first. Remember its a 97x, which sits lower than an SS, so I really just need more curb hopping ability and getting my XR650R to the good open desert locations. Usually huge, big lift, full size trucks meet at spots I will bottom out on right now.

I wouldn't waste time on installing some bump stop cans on stock suspension.
