Monro Reflex with lift?

BDS, ReadyLift, Smaxx... You name it, we know about it here.

New to the site. I've done the majority of reading to be completed by newbs. Within the next few months I'm pretty well set on what I want to do - goal being a mild off-roader.

Marks 2.5" suspension lift
spacers (don't mind using stock rims)
I'm thinking Sensatrac struts as I can get a great deal on them and I would prefer a softer ride as I daily through the winter + I'm a Cadillac ride loving panzy :P . pretty sure I have 87 springs, kind of a royal blue color mark.

I have Monroe Reflex shocks on back currently and here inlies my question... I put the shocks on a year ago when I got the truck and love them. They're not too soft, but definitely not harsh either. I am seeing mixed readings as to whether stock equivalent shocks will work with the 2" lift in back. I won't be upgrading springs as I won't be needing the extra stiffness. I haven't been able to find anywhere any documentation of lifting a gmt with these shocks. I'm thinking Mark is likely correct as his site states the kit is designed for use with oem shocks/struts?

Welcome! The Liftmiester would problably answer your rear shock question.
It's not how fast you go. It's how quick you get there. Lifted TBSS Build

When I first lifted my truck with Mark's kit, I used stock length rear shocks. On the road, I had no problems. However, off road I found that shocks were bottoming out and limited my downward travel.

It is up to you with what you want to do, but I would recommend longer rear shocks if you do not want to limit your rear axle travel.

I recently lifted my tb I used the rough country front and c25r skyjacker rear springs using these springs I did bottom stock shock sitting still. Today I installed the bds shocks and I love them but the rear springs I used gives the back approximately 4in of lift so hope this is helpfull
