Spring and spacer

my tb has the springs 3 "higher, but without spacers
if I add the spacers 2 "corners still fit or risk of breaking something
Now I mount a body 2 "and tires 265/70/17 with springs and ProComp suspension +3 "

What kind of rear springs did you install?

You can add spacers, but your shocks are going to restrict your lift. What shocks do you have?

I didn't know ProComp made a suspension lift kit for our trucks. I tried to get their engineers interested in a project 8 years ago and they refused. What model number kit did you install?

Man, another risky kit with outside-the-strut front spacers that are going to bind up the inner CV joint. I thought ProComp was smarter than that, or they had taken me up on my offer to review any designs they might come up with. This one is suitable for mall cruising only.

Pass these days and require him the codes for the springs and shock absorbers.

Yes, you can break your suspension with the wrong kit installed by somebody who has no experience. They should have at least flipped the upper control arms upsude down and exchanged them from left to right side of the vehicle.

If you could take some pictures and post them we can confirm the spacer lift design. Measure the thickness of the spacers as well. Thanks.

But I still don't see ProComp having a spring-only lift. I find "Pro Comp Nitro Lift Kits - 63215K" that has spacers only.

Andre, please find out where your shop obtained the parts they put on your truck. And what the part numbers were.

Being it says springs AND Pro comp suspension.... he could easily mean the shocks are Pro comp and springs are seperate...

I now see that the springs are not ProComp and I apologize about it
ask where they came from, as did other Tb in this way
but my post was hinged on the fact to ask you, and that you know you are more experienced than me in terms of Tb, as it is done by you and by me that the spare parts and the details are not easily found
if with this system and seeing the corners it was still possible a rise of other 2"

I did not give a link, but I think what you are asking if with your current lift coils (whatever brand) can you add an additional lift of 2 inches via spacer.

Honestly, I do not think anyone can really answer that since the springs and spacers work together. It would depend on if you wanted inside or outside strut spacers, how much lift you have currently, what your spring rate and length is. You may be able to get more lift. The biggest stopper is when the CV is maxxed out and binds from extention. Not sure how close you are to that point.

If you can get spring length and rates and whatever other info the shop can share, we may be able to help you come up with an answer to your question, but right now I think we would be shooting in the dark since no one has done 3 inches of lift via coils only in the front.

FYI-- The rear can handle another spacer with no issue. I had 2 inch springs lift and two spacers at one point. The front is the hold up. Some geometry is involved in how the parts work together and create the actual amount of lift. Typically a spacer that is just outside of the strut assembly is not very safe, esp at 2 inches.

You mention a 2" body lift. Vendor/member MarkMC "theliftmeister.com" sells a 3" body lift that could get you another inch of lift without affecting your front suspension. I'm not sure what would be involved in shipping to IT but I think he has shipped to other countries before. He also sells a small spacer that goes on top of your front strut mount that provides about another 1/2" of lift if you find you can add that much in the front.

One other consideration with lift is what size tires you plan on running. You need to make sure your gearing will work with the size tires you want to run.
