Hey guys im taking my suspension max 2.5 " lift out but keeping my 3"body lift and z71 springs in .

Now my bds shocks are shot so now with the height drop do i need the extended shocks anymore or do i get new factory size shocks?

I also looked around for some info but no luck , thanks everyone

If you have the rear lift springs and spacers in, you need longer shocks unless you want to be banging them all the time on extension. If you take out the rear spacers and only have the Z71 springs, I predict you will need OEM length shocks because the springs would fall out on extension otherwise. Z71 and OEM springs are the same free length - the Z71 just have a higher spring rate (and they're progressive)
