Body lift bolt length.

BDS, ReadyLift, Smaxx... You name it, we know about it here.

For those that have done a body lift. Is there enough of the factory bolt length to do a 1" body lift and still have full thread engagement?

Im planning on running a small 1"-2" body lift to help with space around the trans and t-case, sneaking 1" in would be nice.

IIRC there wouldn't be enough thread left over to make me comfortable running a BL on the stock bolts.

So for those wanting to play around with their own body lift. (without taking out all the stock bolts.)

Does anyone have some stockers to measure? or know the measurements?

Im looking for size, length, thread pitch, and quantity of each.

Thanks!

Thanks! That made it easy knowing they are all the same.

There are two in the very front that aren't shown there. IIRC they are 2" longer than the others... or was it shorter?

From the zone pic, they show 10 the same length, then 2 about 2" longer, then 2 more 2" even longer.

I should have noticed the front 2 cut off.

Edit:
Ill read through zone install stuff, that should tell me what bolt goes where.

Edit #2:

Looks like for a 2" lift, front locations take 200mm bolts, while the rest take 160mm

Im not having much luck finding the gm part number for the front body mounting bolts, the ones going through the radiator support.

PM MarkMC... He used to make the body lift that quite a few of us run. I'm pretty sure he'll know what size they are.

Not sure what the stock bolt lenght is, but here is the length i used for the 3" body lift.

The very front 2 body mount bolts are m12x230
The rear 10 body mount bolts are m12x190

There are also 2 front bumper relocation bolts to raise the bumper.. those are 1/2"-13x 10.5"

hope this helps

Best place to find long metric bolts is your local John Deere or any tractor dealer.
