Measured height at top of wheel well where door meets fender. Before new springs w/BDS lift 35", After with new springs and BDS 37.3".

And yes the spare is worthless and should be removed, truck didn't have spare when I bought it and the dealer said it would replace, they gave me this little POS 215/60/16. Used it once, it sucks.

Some serious rake. What do you haul around to level it out.

I need to put some gear in the rear to add some weight and correct the rake a little, but I haul my atv around and
now my truck doesn't look like it's riding on the axle's.

Good deal. Do you like the ride? I still don't like them in mine but both my bds shocks are blown so that may be they real issue.

I like the ride so far but I've put less than 100 miles on it with the new springs. My BDS shocks are in great shape but I've only had them a 14 months.
Will post again about ride after I've put some weight in the back and a few hundred miles on the springs. I'm thinking 87's and Bilstein's in the front.

I happen to like the rake but this might harken back to my 70s rides!

Once you get weight back there it'll level off. At least mine did with about 500lb of gear.

I don't mind the rake, I just don't want to overextend my shocks. From what I've been reading I may have too much lift for the BDS shocks.

You may be right but…do you go off road to the extent that the guys who are having a problem do? I mean come on guys get a atv for god sakes. Just need a trailer!

Its not only us that wheel alot. Under a year use from someone w just has the bds kit and doesn't wheel like me. Prolly why I only got a few months out of mine.

I had an atv and still use them but it is a completely different experience. I wont go back. Trucks are far more fun.

I get the idea, but I'm over getting beat up by riding ATVs/dirtbikes. I like my cushy truck... maybe I'm old.

Lovin' the Z71 springs, picked up my 16' car trailer from shop today (new axle). Had to lift trailer to get on ball,
need to lower ball to level trailer. Anyway, trailer use to squat truck pretty bad empty, now it hardly moved. Guy did a
double take, he thought I was it was a Tahoe at first.

thats what I did,87's with Mark's 1/2 shims,bilsteins....rides like a champ.

Not for the rear you should be just fine.
