Lower ball joint

BDS, ReadyLift, Smaxx... You name it, we know about it here.

I just got my inspection done and was told that my lower ball joints need replacing. I did a quick search and all I'm finding are topics about the upper ball joint because of all our issues with them. I'm wondering if anyone has replaced theirs and what all is involved. I will admit right away that i haven't even looked at them to figure it out because I'm about to head to work right now. Any feedback is appreciated. I'd like to do the work myself if it is possible.

Here's the first google result for "replace lower ball joint trailblazer"... seems helpful.

I followed the writeup on trailvoy and it when pretty good. Just did mine last monday. Get the big press kit because the smaller didn't have the adaptor I needed. Great pics on trailvoy of what to use.

I did find that when the press got tight it really helped to pop the press with a hammer and things stayed level and when far smoother than just cranking it through. The impact and vibration really helped. Prolly made about 3 cranks then used a bit of hammer and cranked some more.

Good luck,
