Longer Brake Lines For 2" Coil Spacer ??

BDS, ReadyLift, Smaxx... You name it, we know about it here.

I have 2" rear spring spacers coming from Mark The Lift Meister but before I install them I have to address the rear brake lines. I've spent that last couple day's searching and found a couple threads where others have lengthened theirs but no one got into detail on P/N's or if they had them custom made.

Is there a longer brake line direct replacement?

Once lifted 03 Trailblazer on 35's, gave it up to travel the USA with my family.

me and mike key have longer brake lines but most have not had a problem.

I lengthened mine. Used a set of stock fronts with an adapter from Napa. Real easy, and inexpensive.

I have Z71 springs and Marks 2" rear spacers. The real question is shock extention. The distance your axle is allowed to travel down is limited by your shock. I have the Skyjacker N8030 shocks and feel they are perfect for not needing to change the brake lines.

Just curious what adapter you used and if you have or could take a photo?

If you're still running stock shocks in the rear, you don't need to do anything, because all you're doing is raising the resting height, not the actual extension.

I'm curious about the adapter and his solution. Originally I was told that we have non-standard fittings in the rear. One of the reasons why shops don't just make stainless steel lines.
Once lifted 03 Trailblazer on 35's, gave it up to travel the USA with my family.

I believe he got a tee in a more common size then cut and flared the tubing with new nuts on it then got an adapter to 1/2 female.

Well that sounds more complicated. I was fishing to see if there was a Simple DIY method folks here could use if they wanted to make their own lines rather than ordering custom lines.

if you have a double flare tool then it didn't look that difficult. There is a little bit of work space in there.

I was pricing some things after reading a very extensive thread on another forum about building them an realizing that we could probably build front and rears for members here under $100.00 probably sub $80.00 and create a DIY. It's just I couldn't recall which connector on our trucks is the problem connector. I was thinking it was the rears. Staring at the fronts, they looked normal.

Yeah, it's the rears, they have an odd fitting size and a through bolt in the fitting for mounting... 1/2 20. On top of that the fitting is also a T to go to the other side on 04 and up.

yes, 05 and up is an easy solution. Early models require a bit of cutting and flaring, but still pretty easy. I will post pics and details after I am done wheeling this weekend. Sorry, but there are priorities.
