equivilant for 86 front springs

BDS, ReadyLift, Smaxx... You name it, we know about it here.

ok guys I have read and read and havent found anything about acdelco having a spring equivilant to the 86's that can no longer be found, if anyone knows more about this please let me know but from what i was told by GM the equivilant part comes from a v8 model and the acdelco part # is 45H0379, they say it should be the same but if anyone has used these and found them to be to stiff or not stiff enough i would really like to know as these are what i plan to but on my rig. any info would be good, thanks guys. :salut:

P.S. My local dealer here in BFE can get me a set of the 86's but they are coming from a warehouse across the country and the want $150.04 A PIECE before tax and offer no military discount. Way to much IMO.

the "14" spring is right between and 85 and an 86 in spring rate but is a little longer.

I don't recall anybody trying Delcos. If you believe they would work, pony up! When I got the 89s there was a strong possibility they wouldn't work (and they didn't until I added more weight, shock failed). They were around $100 a piece. Sometimes you gotta pay up and try stuff out, it's the only way we find out about new options.

I actually bought 2 sets of the Moog Spring 81114 by mistake. I didn't know AC Delco made a set. Let us know how that works out.
Once lifted 03 Trailblazer on 35's, gave it up to travel the USA with my family.

Am I reading this right? You paid $100 each for 89s? My total shipping cost for a pair was ~$75

Yeah, they were almost as much as the lift itself. I only remember it cause I was pretty irritated they cost so much.
