Just a lift kit?

BDS, ReadyLift, Smaxx... You name it, we know about it here.

Planning on getting the 2" suspension lift by RC for my TB.

Do I have to get different springs, etc. after the lift? Or can I just lift it without having to get any other parts.
I know that it really depends on what kind of off roading I will be doing. I don't plan on anything more serious than hunting trails with a few mud holes (2.5 max). Will the stock system work fine for me or are others springs and stuff recommended?

That kit will do fine for what you need it to do. No change in springs is needed. What MOST folks do, since it's a lot of work to go into your struts and compress the beefy springs, is renew the shocks at the same time for $50-55 a side with new aftermarket Bilsteins.

If he was to add a MDB Bumper I'd add some stiffer springs. But If you don't plan on a MDB Bumper don't upgrade the springs. There was a documented faluire due to running stiffer springs and no bumper.

I'd reccomend SkyJacker S97N8030 Rear Shocks. Get the Bilsteins as Roadie mentioned. I'd also suggest browsing Build Threads.

Thanks so much for the good ideas and advice y'all! I'll have to do some soul searching and deciding to see what I need to do.

The failure was due to running the stiffest springs available with no armor... that's an important clarification to make.
