Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

can you guys gimme a hand...

BDS, ReadyLift, Smaxx... You name it, we know about it here.

by 06MidnightBlue » Tue Nov 15, 2011 9:58 pm

I'm a little confused here. I've decided not to go with the BDS rear lift, but to go with the Tahoe spring lift. With this, I have 3 questions....

1) From this site, which option do I select...

Sorry the page wont load right with the part number, you'll have to copy and paste. Here's the spring
part number....25978750

http://gmpartsonline.net/partlocator/in ... eid=215055

2) Once I've ordred the springs, will they give me better level capacity?

3) If I don't, will the airbags that I'm using in the stock TB springs work in the new ones?

Thanx guys!!! :excited:

The link stops at the homepage...

Why don't you order the Z71 springs from ebay?

Depends on what you're carrying... and you need to change the Firestone ones as well.

here's a set, they seem to be drying up though, not as many as there once were. I got mine for about $15 + $35 shipping. If you aren't in a hurry just keep a search on ebay and you'll find a deal.

That is who I bought mine from right there. Good guy to deal with in my case. Was quick to respond and shipped really quick. Was a lot cheaper before as previously stated.

Irishboy has Z71's in his classified ad, he might give you a fair price if he is going to bust the lift up.

Thanks for the tip Navigator and no disrespect to Irishboy, but I'm looking for new parts, that way I know exactly what I'm getting. Now if I am reading right, I have to use Z71 shocks as well as the springs correct?

No the Z71 shocks are garbage, Use BDS(or equivalent) or their new foxshocks

BDS Tahoe or similar company will need to use washers or make spacers

Nothing wrong with Irish's springs... It's not like you'd be getting springs with 100k miles. They're still going to do what they are supposed to do.
