Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

Adjustable rear control arms.

BDS, ReadyLift, Smaxx... You name it, we know about it here.

Found these, made by Spohn Performance. Some of you know they sell the adjustable panhard bar as well. According to Tony, the suspension Guru on the SS owners site, these adjustable arms will work with up to 2.5" of rear lift. I believe he runs discounted pricing through his site, but these still aren't a bad price for what they are.

Personally I wouldnt want to run adjustable rear control arms. That just seems like a really big weak spot, especially when kissing a rock. Don't get me wrong, they would be great for mall cruisers and what not, I'd like em to be solid. Just my .02

Having the adjustment in the middle does create a week point.

I agree. You want the adjustments toward the ends, if at all possible.

at least on the lower rear control arms, those take so much abuse from rocks and stuff. i think these are geared more toward lowered tb's than off road use!

The lowers should be solid to the length need to retain the stock location. The uppers should be adjustable to reset pinion angle. The lowers have to be dead on the measurement though.

I have extended uppers and lowers. No way I would run those lowers. They would be tweaked to hell and back the first trip out.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

With the option of solid, these are obviously off the table. Keep in mind I presented these before anyone was fabricating longer ones for us. In my opinion it was a better option than nothing.

Our rear control arms are pretty short, so the guys with 3+" or so of lift in the rear, with the 34"+ tires are getting really close to rubbing the front of the rear wheel well openings. Because of this, a vendor here (gotricegh) makes extended upper and lower rear control arms for us.
