Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

all of these abbreviations are confusing...help!!

BDS, ReadyLift, Smaxx... You name it, we know about it here.

im new to the forum, andive been reading on a few posts. what ive read made sence for the most part but abbreviations like uca and lca and bj are what? any other abbreviations i might need to know as far as suspension goes, please dont be afraid to post on here with there meanings!!

damn i figured it out guys about the uca and lca. upper and lower control arm... right?

could be Upper CAlifornia, Lower CAnada and I will leave BJ up to you...

for the G80 look at the RPO codes in your glove box if you see G80 then you have one if not you don't.

LCA=Lower Control Arm
BJ=Ball Joint
G80=RPO code for locking rear differential
SAS=Solid Axle Swap
RTFM=Read the //// Manual

Ball joints.

There are two on each steering knuckle - one connecting the UCA and one connecting the LCA.

It sounds like you've done some reading - at least you didn't ask what type of lifts there are.
