Hey guys. First post here. I've researched and read many posts both here and trailvoy.com. I have it pretty well planned out just looking for input/critique.
Truck: 2006 chevy trailblazer LT. 143xxx miles. 82/83 front coil springs. No G80. 3.42 gear ratio. 235/75r16 Firestone Destination LE2 with 8/32" tread remaining. this is my daily driver.
My Build Goals: "firmer" ride. capable of mild offroading(logging roads, getting to remote hunting/camping locations). More rugged look. I want higher frame to ground clearance and some increase in approach/departure angles. I don't mind a decrease in on road driving because my commutes are quite short.
My Plan: 2-3" suspension lift all around.
Front: 3" lift
Moog 81114 springs(my calculations show about 1" lift over oem springs(82/83)
BDS or Rough Country 2" front spacer(The BDS seem preferred but Rough country is half the price)
Bilstein 4300(24-103336) Struts
Rear: 2.5" lift
Moog 81069 springs(my calculations show 1.25-1.5" lift over oem springs)
1" spacer blocks
Airbag 1000(kept pretty soft unless hauling trailer)
Bilstein 5100(24-185783)
Tires:
BFG KO2: 245/75r16: 30.4"
BFG KO2: 265/70r16: 30.6"
Grabber AT2: 245/75r16: 30.6"
Can you see any changes I should make? Are my calculations for OAL Lift pretty accurate?
