Cracked body lift puck

BDS, ReadyLift, Smaxx... You name it, we know about it here.

Was working on swapping the rear diff and water was constantly dripping on my head. It hasn't rained here in a few days and I haven't driven the trailblazer for almost two weeks.

Got the light and saw the water is running through the crack in the body lift puck. Also is running through where it looks like two body panels are seamed(I'll try to get a pic of that too)

Anyone cracked theirs before? The rear bolt came right out when I put the lift on, didn't have to cut the corner to get a wrench on the nut...but being all this water seems trapped in there, I might cut the corner for a drain? Kinda scared to back that bolt out now for fear of it breaking.

Looks like water might have gotten into the spacers relief holes and froze last winter..
Kinda like what happens in a ice cube tray in the freezer..
Drill a 1/8" drain hole off to the side of body mount, spray some PB Blaster in the hole and let it work for a few days before
attempting to remove the bolt..

That's what I assumed happened. Am I the only one to have water get in there? Should I just drill the 1/8" hole as you suggested and leave that as a "drain"?

I will replace the puck, but is this something that needs to happen NOW, or can I put it on the list and fix when I can? I don't drive it but maybe twice a month. Since the body lift I might have 1000 miles on it.

i would suggest leaving the weep hole open and add puck replacement to the "some day" list..

10-4...I drilled the hole and whatever the void is there was FULL of water.

I guess I'm going to have to find the leak!?
