So that is quite a large difference. I was originally thinking something much smaller.

The good news is that it should make it much easier to diagnose. The first thing that I'm thinking when I see those pictures is that your LCA alignment plate isn't tight enough, and its rocking back and forth in its mounting slots. There could be enough friction on it otherwise that you couldn't move it by hand though, which is why it only seems to do it on pavement with the weight of the truck pushing on the tire.

If you only replaced the LCA, you may have overlooked the LCA alignment plate and its 3 mounting bolts underneath the engine. Can you try to get us a picture of it from below the truck to ensure there isn't something else wrong in this area?

Also, there is no way it could be your CV shaft. The knuckle is positioned by only the UCA, LCA, and TRE. Its gotta be one of those 3 components, or what they mount to. Also, no, there isn't really a backwards way you can mount the rack.

I know exactly which plate and bolts you are talking about and ill be honest no that plate isnt bolted in I do have the big 13/16" bolt holding the lca to the frame.. reason for plate not being on at the moment is because it has so much grease/oil/ ps fluid build up from previous leaks that I wanted to take it to a car wash and power wash them

That's your problem then... that's where all the adjustment is, those have to be tight otherwise the LCA isn't secure

You removed the LCA mounting brackets because you thought they weren't necessary?!?!?!

Glad we figured it out, and glad that you saw that before attempting to drive anywhere.
