32s with 3.43

I know it isn't recommended but I do have a fresh 4l70e and I'm thinking of running 32s. Has anyone ran this set up and if so was it good or bad? Or do y'all think I'm better off with 31s or 31.5
It will have a 2" lift and 1.5" spacers

265-75-16 on 3.42s no issues yet. Running a 4l60 with 224k on it

Just keep an eye on your temps. You may need to add a trans cooler if you see them climb a lot during your drive.

How difficult is it to install a trans cooler

Trans coolers are relatively simple to install. I run 31.7 inch tires with 3.42. I just take everything slower. Im getting ready to install a cooler. Its long overdue for me. I never really needed it until my last trip out when i pushed my truck a little harder then usual.

I ran 33s on 3.42s for 2 years. Daily driving and offroad, perfectly fine, no issues whatsoever. Just get a trans cooler to keep it from getting too hot

I’m running 32’s on 3.42s as well-no issues so far at 186k miles.

The trans will hunt around more on the highway and spend more time unlocked.

3.43s are generally fine off-road, but they suck at 70-80.

I also have 32's and have a roof top tent on top acting like a air dam Switched my driving habits when I got my bigger lift and tires. It is no speed demon anymore but it does just fine. I installed a trans cooler and never see above 180 even on the big mountain passes we have over here. And like said before it doesn't like highway speeds especially with my tent on top. HAHAHAH

As others, I run 265-75-16 at 3.42. I've been meaning to change it out, but it's a big job. I'm thinking December at this point.

Anyway, that setup can be a total hog at altitude. If I get over 10K feet, I basically need 4LO just to climb anything offroad, even without really needing 4-wheel-drive. If I'm driving around the Denver area, I need to stay at or below 3. If I climb up I-70 to the mountains, sometimes I need to shift down to 2 in order to maintain speed. It's just a pain and I should really change the gearing.

You should get a transmission cooler and a temp sensor though.
