Fierce Attitude M/T

Need new shoes? This is the place to discuss.

I am wondering if anybody here has actually put these on their TB? I havent been able to find anybody who has. I am considering either these or the Duratracs. I do city/highway with lots of gravel road, then I like mud so need something that cleans itself pretty well and also something that is good in deep snow. The reviews online for the Fierce Attitude seem to be pretty good and they are not too much more then the Duratacs. I am not concerned about road noise. I just want something that will get me in and out of the mud and snow.

I have Mark's 2.5" lift coming in with the wheel spacers now I am just saving for some new tires :flex dirty: I cant wait to get rid of my silent armours.

Goodyear makes a good tire no doubt.

Everything I've read on this tire has been good, a better than average M/T. Kind of a jack of all trades IMO, but not cheap.

I have the Duratracs and I love them. Wearing good, not loud at all at highway speeds but they seem louder at low speeds up to 50. I'd say better than average traction in almost all conditions. That's why I got them... kind of a jack-of-all-trades tire. But a friend that works at a local tire shop said they get a lot of returns with punctures between the tread from the rock logging roads here. He thinks there's too much gap in the tread blocks.

I refuse to buy Fierce Attitudes solely on the basis that they have the stupidest name ever. Plus all I've ever seen them on around here is mall crawlers.

haha, I could get past the name but like you said they do seem to be on a lot of the mall crawlers. I dont know anybody and have never seen anybody actually 'use' them. Thats why I was hoping somebody here had some experience with them :safari:

The Duratracs seem good but one of voltage's busted a belt and had a huge bulge. My buddy loved his. I would consider them, but think the Mickey ATX would be a better aggressive AT for me.

All other goodyear tires I have had or been around...JUNK. MTR's are a joke to me. Terrible wear for decent performance.

My friend wheels with them on his JK. Really likes them and they seem to work well, but they are noisy.

Got a friend with the fierce on her 4runner in the 33x12.5 size. Even running some of the rock trails in idaho, she is happy...

I am running the Duratracs and I can say they are good in sand and mud but they do not self-clean very well. They have got me through anything I have thrown them at but they do cake over in thick mud.
