I am thinking some 34s...... what ya think?

Kyle had a set of those that he bought and sold... There are pics of them on his TB on here, somewhere... They are bias ply, and handling will suck on them, as with any bias ply tire... They won't be good in the snow (because of the tread pattern, as well as being bias ply), either...

If it's a "mostly off road" vehicle, sure... If it's a "mostly on road" vehicle, I wouldn't put bias ply tires on it...

Yea i know thats what sucks.... There arnt to many tire co. that make a 34 which sucks. My buddy has a set of 36 tsl bias and i noticed they do wear faster. I dont know i guess we will keep looking but you know that bumper is first on my list right!!!

Lots of companies make 34" tires! They call them 35" tires, though...

Yea i know 34.7 I dont want to stuff 35s becuse i know i will not have a body lift any time soon.

I had them on a week and wouldn't put them back on after. Not half the tire a decent mt radial is. Fyi...315 75 16 km2 on 8 inch wide wheels measure 33:5 w the vehicle weight on them. My buddy was pretty dissappointed with the heightof his "35s" on his JK.

Have you looked at www.treadwright.com? They have 315/70/17. They are 34.7 in tires with a width of 11.8 and are good for a rim withthe wide or the rim being 8.5 - 11. So try there and see what you can find

I wouldn't have considered anything bigger than a 33 before my body lift. I could rub my 265/70/17's front and rear...

Many tires claim 34.7 but I doubt the true height until some takes a pic of one on a truck. The referenced 315 75 16 my buddy have claim 34.8 but are 33.5 in real life

I have looked in to the retreads they are on my list and I really like the tsl. I know i shouldnt say this but..... My TB is basicly just for wheeling I have a work truck i drive daily and we have a family car. So i mean evently when i can afford it i am getting a truck and trailer and the TB will be converted. So i dont know just trying to see what i can put under the TB that is well worth it.

33 inch PITBULL Rocker Bias for wheeling. A true 33 inch tall tire and bias allows for incredible flex that radials cant offer. Plus they are tough as nails.

i gotta ask you, in what aspect are you saying that it's not "half the tire" a M/T radial is?

All around. It is a better trail tire but I wouldn't run 50 miles of pavement to get to trails w them. Bias ply is just not cut out fir that and most of us here need all around. I would run irok bias if I had a trailered rig.

How much street do your bias see? I have ripped sections of tread out or flat blew apart 3 bias tires on two sets and both were interco. They were not driven half as much as my radial pro comps.

As far as TRUE tire size, I really think the only way to find out is once you have the tire mounted on the truck... I was out wheeling this week and my buddys militairy 37x12.5 was almost 2" shorter then a cherokees mud claw? 36x13.5

(sorry it took so long to respond) I can agree to the fact bias are not made to DD. My tires don't see much road, my drive to work is less then 3 mins. But I have run 2 sets of bias Swampers now and had no issues with either set, no punctures, rips, or tears. Now that I have run 2 sets, and see other people in our club with NON-swampers, I'll never run anything besides a swamper.
