used 33's

Need new shoes? This is the place to discuss.

:read: So i'm gonna be at the englishtown swap meet next weekend and plan on picking up a set of 33's... i'm looking for some input on what i should get. Remember i'm on stock wheels, i have a set of 16's and a set of 17's, so i have options.

BFG ALL Terrian KO's?

BFG M/T KM's?

Toyo's?

Michelin's?

Nitto's?

What do you guys think, i'm kinda leaning toward the BFG A/T's right now, they're easy to find and cheap, plus have as much traction as many mildly aggressive M/T's, and are much better on the street. :drive:

Since I'm still out of work, I did the used BFG T/A KO's. $260 for four, maybe 30-40% tread left. Pretty hard rubber. I'm not very pleased with their traction after the fantastic ProComps I had. I expect you all to know the kind I had. :slap:

Teebes loves Toyos. I would not get anything less than a full-out MT ever again.

yeah... very true, and for the terrian near me i need a good mud tire, but with the amount of road driving i do, m/ts get annoying and wear alot more than an m/t...

roadie, wana sell 'em, how much is shipping? haha

i love my bfg m/t km2's but they are crazy expensive! very very good in mud, best tires i've seen in there size but pricest too

I have one of those I am running as a spare. Same size. If you don't have one, by the time I get two more of my M/Ts, I'll gladly throw it your way. BTW, does that mean you have the 16" spare wheel? I'm looking for 4 more of them so I have a full set. Would you want to trade that for one of my stocks to match yours?

I'm really digging my Discoverers as a hybrid all-terrain large voidspace tire... I'm going to be taking them to the snow this winter, so I'll let you know how they are, but they have the large voids but with siping, and they're not too noisy on the road.

I've had my 5th BFG MT since TECORE... I've finally ordered my 5th Rainier wheel... I have to paint it as soon as it gets in, then I'm rotating it into my 4 and doing a 5 wheel rotation. I will no longer need the 16" steelie, nor will I need the 4 stock 16s.... LOL

well they're officially on! check out my build thread!

anyways just wanted to say that they drive great, they're harder to turn, but that is expected. but surprisingly, they make the truck more stable then it was with the old tires.
