I have 3.42 with 285's and I do notice a drop in gas mileage but not severe. Ive had worse lol

Although I do have higher temps but I think once I get a tranny cooler it should offset that

Your trans isn't staying locked up. I suspect many of us have similar issues... time to regear!

Yeah Ive been hunting new diffs for it. The killer is the fronts, they sure are proud of them lol. Climbing hills in regular driving gets me about 230-240 degrees. It cools back down to normal after awhile of being back on flat road though.

Got the 285/75-16 Wardens M&B this morning... Balanced per the instructions from Treadwright, and took between 1.25 and 2.5oz... (not much AT ALL for this size tire)

Good luck, I don't think anyone has found a solution that actually works yet.

I'd highly recommend a scangauge so you can have an adjusted speed gauge and keep an eye on the temps.

Mine is right on with my pcmforless tune. I gave them tire specs from manufacturer and actual measured on truck height. Works perfect.

I forgot Kyle's works... but I don't recall anyone else with a speedo that's correct after the tune. Maybe it's hit or miss, I know mine didn't budge.

There are all kinds of speedo PWM signal modification devices out there for the ~$100 range, that people have been using for years... The speedohealer that I've posted sevearl times around here has been used by motorcycles and cars/tucks for at least 5-6 years...

Having said that, better money is probably on the $150 scangauge, because then you can tell what your powertrain is really doing...

The big thing is tire height on vehicle. My friend is self programing speedo thing and his 265 75 16 had to be programmed in at 31.2 to match up and his "35" 315 75 16 are in at 34.3. Most people w the rubi takeoffs like james have them measured at 31ish to get speedo accurate.

When I had mine done, I had them calibrate for 33s, thinking that was my next step. Of course I went and got 35's. My speedo is off, but only the difference between 33s and 35s. If I had 33s, it would be right on.

PCM4Less website says they can't do speedo corrections on 02-05 TBs.

Got the Wardens on the truck last night... They drive out really nice! It's odd to be able to hear the engine on the highway, though! er... or is it more odd that the Destination M/Ts caused me not to be able to hear the 12-valve Cummins?

So ordered these up (255/75/17) Monday and am set to see them this coming Saturday. From all the positives that you all have posted, it'd be silly to pass up. Also got Mark's lift on it's way. :excited:
