My mechanic recommends Cooper Discoverer AT/3 10-plys for my truck, does anyone know anything about these. My mechanic knows trucks, but isn't exactly the off-roading type.
The problem with the Trailblazer is, people think you know what you're doing.

Largely depends on what you're planning on doing with the vehicle.
You plan on running some trails, or is it just a drive to work vehicle?

My dad likes them on his f350
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

I have Coopers old version of these, the Discoverer ATR. They have been good to me so far, but for my next set I may go with something a little beefier such as their Discover S/T MAXX. It really depends on what you're trying to do with the vehicle. I've found that my offroad needs are greater now then when I bought them, so like I said next time around I'll upgrade. :flex dirty:

It will be mostly commuting, or impromptu 4-wheeling where the road suddenly turns into an off-road experience in city limits. There are a couple trails I want to take it on where, she could run into sharp rocks. Snow of course is always a possibility, but once I get some actual off-road/snow experience I'll probably spend more time doing it. :flex dirty:
