Ok im still searching about what's some info that I would need to know to see if they fit ie: offset etc im prob going to find a steel rim and weld rings that I like I want to keep my my size tires 285/75R16 so I would start with a 16x7 or 16x8 what do I need to know from there?

Start at a 16X8, I think the 7" will be too narrow for the 285.

Still searching but this is what I got I would need adapters to fit the bolt pattern 6x5.5 and a 16x8 4.25" back spacing how would that sound?

No with the adapters you want 5.5" - 6" backspace. The adapters will be 1.5" and make up the backspace.
