As others, I run 265-75-16 at 3.42. I've been meaning to change it out, but it's a big job. I'm thinking December at this point.
Anyway, that setup can be a total hog at altitude. If I get over 10K feet, I basically need 4LO just to climb anything offroad, even without really needing 4-wheel-drive. If I'm driving around the Denver area, I need to stay at or below 3. If I climb up I-70 to the mountains, sometimes I need to shift down to 2 in order to maintain speed. It's just a pain and I should really change the gearing.
You should get a transmission cooler and a temp sensor though.
