Front recovery hooks

Hey, wondering if there are any aftermarket options for front recovery hooks on a factory bumper. Straightened one of mine yesterday.

Lol. Still wondering myself how it happened. Was out ice fishing and buried my tb in a deep snow drift. Hooked up the recovery strap, buddy went to pull me straight out and next thing I know the strap flew off. Got out and saw that. Have used those hooks dozens of times with much harder yanks and no issues. Just weird (lucky, but still weird) that it didnt break right off.
Has anybody else had this happen? Not sure how much I trust my intact front hook now. Lol.

I would take the bumper cover off and check the bolts for tightness. My guess is the little bolt either felt out, sheared off or ripped through the thin reinforcement steel. It has be stated since the stock front hooks are weak one should put a strap between them in a V and pull from the center.

Likely just ripped the left (small) bolt in the picture above out of the thin sheetmetal of the factory bumper. You can either reinforce that place by welding some (thicker) material in it, or you can get a radiator skid from me, with the factory tow hook mod.

I did the same thing to my hooks when I slid into the Grand River, ripped the bolt right through the sheetmetal like Mike said.
