Was turned on to these at Country Fried Weekend, had not seen them before. At $150 a pair they are more economical, 1/2 the price of other brands. I've never known SmittyBuilt to make low quality products.

Anyone seen them before?

Wasn't James supposed to get a set of the orange ones to try out? :scratch:

for the beach I bet either design would work pretty good.
If you were to get stuck you could use the hi-lift and lift mates to lift the wheels, throw a little sand in the hole and put the ladders in there to get moving again.

The weight limit is listed at 7000 for them wonder how they would stand up as bridging ladders

go read the thread that JD posted a few posts up. They did extensive testing on these and the other brand.
Neither are really stiff enough for real bridging ladders.

7000lbs won't crush them but they're not built to bridge.

After seeing the review I would go with the cheaper ones, slightly lower performance but not much for 1/2 price.
These are not a tool meant as a last resort but more a first, Quick solution.

ORW actually had them! I was suprised.
They did look at me funny when i asked for "bridging ladders". So many names for these things.
