Jerry Cans...

Dumping ground for offroad Trailblazer or Envoy general discussion.

by KE7WOX » Fri Apr 09, 2010 2:09 pm

I just found these

http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/GJC002.cfm

And that site still has the 10L jerrycans, but, they cannot be sold to residents of the state that knows that every chemical is known to cause cancer and or/other reproductive harm.

And I'm also looking at getting 1-2
This is an aggressive post. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to be able to appreciate a post of this quality and depth.

Awesome! Thanks!

I had been looking for a metal 2.5 gallon can for chainsaw mix fuel!

Phil, if I were to order the 4, it would cost $125 shipped for the four. Thats $62.50 for 2. Not sure how much it would cost me to ship this to you...

Figure shipping for 17 lbs to 93010. I can give you a business address if it's cheaper. Definitely in since the crappy CARB ones are fifty each anyways.

Eta shipping is 25 via ups ground. I'm in.

He advised me it would probably be easier and cheaper for me to order my own, as I was in need of new confirmation for my long-inactive paypal account.

I don't think you'll have an issue with them shipping to CA. These aren't labeled as gas cans... I think the biggest issue either of us would have is getting them filled. All you have to do is find a station with a snot-nosed teenager working the pumps, they'll put gas in anything. But yeah, just makes more sense, you were looking at spending like $95 for 2 and having me ship them to you when you could get 4 for $125...

I only plan on keeping 2 of mine. I think I have a buyer for the other 2, if not, I'll be posting them on Craigs or something if one of the local members doesn't want to take them off my hands.

I ordered one of these, as well... Excellent for storing chainsaw/trimmer mix!

You have to get them filled? Our gas stations are DIY... as long as you aren't smoking or spilling gas all over the place, they don't care.

Forgot that Jersey is one of the few, if not, only, state where you can't pump your own gas... :gimp:
