I am looking for info on lockers and researching. So just a quick question if you don't mind...
I have LWB 3.42 gears, but with XL version my understanding is that I have the bigger diff housing (10 bolt 8.6???). I use it for sand dunes and some mud mostly. I do notice the open diff's front and back when climbing a hill in sand. Left front and rear passenger only ones pulling when loosing traction.
So question: What would you do? Should I get a locker for the rear diff? Thought?

So finally a positive, I am going to look these lockers up todsay and order. So I take it I just have to drain and pull diff plate. Install in position and close backup. Fill. Is that all? Got the sorry gear 3.42, so may look at axle swap down road, but plan to beat this diff a bit more. Not my daily either.
