Ahhhhhh, just subscribed to your videos. Be aware that doing donuts is notoriously risky for our power steering pump shafts. They snap very easily.

Never saw somebody more needing of a lift kit to continue their adventure...... :cheers:

Just saw this thread. I am literally 2 miles from Camp Pendleton on North River Road. Sounds like we have three north county people which should be enough for a meet!!

Make sure you let me know your days off, Nick. Lift install some weekend soon as Michael gets the parts.

Edit: Michael - note that Nick is a fluffier older fart than me with grayer hair. {NOT!}

Sounds good. I am off every other saturday including this one coming up, but have plans this saturday. I may have a partial body lift for him to buy if he wants...

Hey, bill!
Just go the parts in for the lift, and the Z71 springs are en route. Won that auction at $37! But then it was $35 for shipping :wallbash:
I was wondering if this grille guard ( http://www.autoanything.com/grille-guards/61A2507A0A0A2389859.aspx ) would interfere with the installation of the rad skid plate.
Thanks Sir!

It won't interfere, but it'll defeat the purpose of removing your plastic bumper, and will reduce clearance by ~2.5" compared to the stock plastic bumper...

Quite literally, for the $350 that that show piece costs, you can get a bumper, and be able to get extracted (shackle mounts), and for $50 more than that, you can have a 2" receiver for a winch...

Are you referring to the bumpers that you produce?

I'm cleaning the garage for real to locate all my tools and put the rear seat platform back in today if you want to start putting anything together. Did you get new front shocks? Anyway, you have my number.....
