My spare is just a 40 on an aluminum H2 wheel, but still 120lbs. Im looking at building an angled mount so it will fit in the back and still have both rear seats upright. I keep thinking about on the back, but that kills being able to see out the rear window.

Maybe on the trailer is a better place for it!

Ah that could be the key to a larger spare area... I removed my resonator so long ago, I generally forget about it. Then again, a run down a decent 4x4 trail will take care of that tin-can problem anyway :D

Im thinking about getting a spare tire hitch now I was wondering about dry rot it that a issue for you guys out there that have hitch racks? Or when you guys put tires on them do you have covers?

Not any more of an issue than the other 4, if you do a 5-tire rotation...
